For years, web development workflows have been heavily defined and sometimes confined by the structural limitations of traditional content management systems. However, the development landscape is rapidly shifting, bringing us into a “Post-CMS” era. We are no longer bound to a single, monolithic architecture; instead, the tools, frameworks, and possibilities for what we can build are practically unlimited.
This session explores the practical realities of transitioning into this new paradigm. We will dive into what we are actively building right now and the modern stacks we are using to get there, highlighting tools like Astro and modern approaches like EmDash. By examining these current projects, we’ll unpack how piecing together decoupled, modern tooling allows us to step outside the traditional ecosystem to deliver faster, more flexible, and highly optimized digital experiences.
