ColorCode Events, LLC is a partnership between Ben Dunkle, Ron Brennan, and Tim Bouchard. Each had played a role in local Buffalo "camp" events since 2014 and after some things got a little rocky in that world, the three decided to branch off and create an independent self-funded event with a wider range of topics.

While ColorCode Events is not a non-profit (as of now), the operating agreement between the three partners stipulates that beyond initial investments, the funds generated by events are to be used within the organization for future events. This allows for the eventual growth into paying speakers and expanding to additional cities.
